[Product description]:
The product can be used with Bioda immune detector to quantitatively detect NT-proBNP egg white in human whole blood, plasma, and serum and it can provide the reference for diagnosis, prognosis evaluation and curative effect monitoring of heart failure.
● Differential diagnosis of patients with heart failure
● Classification of risk for patients with heart failure
● Curative effect monitoring of patients with heart failure
● Prognosis evaluation of patients with heart failure
[Detailed information]:
Bioda NT-proBNP produced by the company is a kind of IVD reagent for detection of NT-proBNP white egg in whole blood, plasma, and serum.
NT-proBNP (N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide) is a split product of proBNP by digestion. Mass synthesis, secretion and release of proBNP can be completed in case of traction of cardiac muscle cell or overload of pressure applied on blood vessel through the wall. ProBNP is decomposed into BNP containing 32 amino acids and NT-proBNP containing 76 amino acids with biological activity in secretion process or entering blood. In comparison with BNP, NT-proBNP has longer biological half-life in human body (about 1-2h, while it is 20min for BNP) and relatively higher concentration in blood (15-20 times higher than BNP), thus NT-proBNP is considered as a biological marker that can better reflect cardiac functions, diagnose patients with symptoms of heart failure, make prognosis evaluation of patients with heart failure and acute coronary syndrome, and guide treatment of heart failure.
